Former Tottenham player looks to have been left in awe of the new Tottenham stadium.
Andros Townsend, who left the club back in 2016 to join Newcastle United and later moved to Crystal Palace, played at the new stadium when Tottenham hosted Crystal Palace last weekend. The match was the first competitive fixture at the stadium and Townsend’s side were defeated 2-0 at the new home ground of Spurs. Townsend came as a substitute and played 10 minutes against his former side.
It appears as if the player has been left in awe of the new stadium as he returned to visit his former side face Manchester City in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Townsend took to Twitter and shared a picture of the new stadium from his seat with the caption “views”
Townsend may have left Spurs but he will always have a special place in the club and fans hearts.
