Xavi Simons is a Dutch attacking midfielder who signed for Tottenham from RB Leipzig in 2025. A product of the Barcelona academy, he developed further at Paris Saint-Germain, PSV and Leipzig, and he is admired for his dribbling, close control and clever movement between the lines.
In Roberto De Zerbi’s side, a creative midfielder who can receive in tight spaces and break defensive lines is invaluable. Simons can play centrally or drift wide, and his willingness to run with the ball makes him a constant threat. He competes with James Maddison and others for a place in the creative department, so his form matters enormously.
On this page we collect everything we publish on Simons: team news, injury and fitness updates, contract and transfer stories, and analysis of his performances. We look at where he lines up, how he links with the forwards and what he offers that other Spurs players do not. For anyone who wants to follow the progress of one of Tottenham’s most gifted young players, this is the place.
