Dele Alli has been wrapping under that golden boy tag for quite a while now, and let’s face it – he’s looked nowhere near to what we thought he’s capable of and I think it’s time to break that bubble and judge him for who he is rather. It’s not only me, from the face of it it looks like Daniel Levy has changed his standing on Dele as well – with the Athletic reporting that Levy is willing to let go of the 25-year-old come January.
While Simon Jordan has taken a jab at the Englishman insisting that Dele has delusions of splendour and he should rather focus more on ball than mannikin for clothing brands. Things seemed as he was getting his Spurs career back on tract at the dawn of the ongoing campaign, with starting all of first six games of the season – however he failed out of favour under Nuno and the same continued under Jose Conte.
Former Crystal Palace owner insisted that no team would want Dele, and he’d rather have to settle for a club like Newcastle.
🙄 “Alli’s wasted 3 years of his life.”
🤦♂️ “Maybe Alli can stop advertising clothes and get on with football.”
😒 “If you’re Alli you have delusions of grandeur, you’re probably president of your own fan club.”

It’s not a secret that Dele Alli has developed an image where he needs to either live up to his buy or jump under the bus for anything and everything he does. Though the fact the we can count the number of League minutes he’s appeared under Conte on a single hand says alot about the vibes he is passing behind the scenes.
Be it at Tottenham, or on loan – Dele needs to get his mojo back, and really soon. Time’s running out…
