Victor Nelsson looking likely by the day…

Victor-Nelsson-Tottenham

Galatasaray’s chief, Erden Timur, is said to have boarded his way to London to reportedly engage in transfer discussions with multiple Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, with the prospect of anticipated transfer of Danish defender Victor Nelsson.

Galatasaray have reportedly set a €25 million price tag for the center-back, rejecting Tottenham’s initial bid of €13 million. However, reports suggest that the North-Londoners are prepared to return with an improved offer for the player’s services.

Recent developments indicate that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs for the transfer, driven by Nelsson’s desire to leave Galatasaray and the potential financial gains for the Turkish club.

Galatasaray had initially been reluctant to part ways with Victor Nelsson, but their position has softened owing to Nelsson’s desire to seek a new challenge and the financial benefits that could be gained from his sale. Spurs in their pursuit of the Danish international, had a meeting with Nelsson and it is reported that they have now reached an agreement for his transfer. Galatasaray has been working on finalizing the details of the sale, and Tottenham has shown a willingness to meet the €25 million release clause set by the Turkish club.

Interestingly, there seems to be mutual interest between both the clubs, as Galatasaray have also desired Pape Matar Sarr.

During discussions between Galatasaray chief Erden Timur and Tottenham representatives, the potential transfer of Nelsson was a topic of conversation. Reports indicate that an agreement has been reached with Tottenham for the Danish defender’s sale, further emphasizing the progress made in negotiations. It appears that Daniel Levy is ready to splash the €25 million release clause, demonstrating Spurs’ commitment to securing Nelsson’s services.

OPINION

Honestly, this makes me excited. Top move for a top player. But the fact that we are making signings in the market without a manager and TD, this is just a Daniel Levy world and we are just living in it… Crazy how things are working at Hotspur Way. Need to get a few things sorted before dealing with transfers in a blue print of play and project undertaken by the new manager at helm and how it’d complement the incoming director.

Having said that, as soon as Victor Nelsson reps that Spurs badge, I am backing him all the way…
