Trophies elusive at Tottenham, Bayern’s domestic dominance appeals to Harry Kane

According to a report from the Independent, Bayern Munich are willing to present an “attractive offer” to entice Tottenham’s star striker, Harry Kane, to move to the Bundesliga. The German outfit is looking for a new striker since the departure of Robert Lewandowski, and Kane has reportedly become a top prospect due to his impressive record in the Premier League.

Despite being linked with a move to Germany for the past year, Kane has expressed his desire to remain in England and become the Premier League’s all-time leading scorer, being only 54 goals away from Alan Shearer’s record of 260. However, with the forward entering the final year of his current contract at Spurs, and the uncertainty surrounding his contract extension, a transfer in the summer is a possibility.

Bayern is encouraged by the fact that Spurs are reluctant to sell Kane to another Premier League club, increasing the chances of a probable move to Germany. The opportunity to win trophies and experience domestic dominance in Germany could appeal to Kane, who is yet to win any major silverware at N17.

However, Manchester United are also reportedly interested in signing Kane as they look to add a high-profile striker to their squad in the summer. The Reds from Manchester have also been linked with the likes of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos, indicating that they may be more interested in signing a long-term option rather than Kane.
