Tottenham Hotspur are on a roll!

The newly structured Spurs team has been performing well over their expectations having won 6 games and drawing 2 in their opening 8 games. The North Londoners are also on the top of the table as it stands today.

Despite being a man down in the first half, Tottenham were able to thump over their compatriots Luton Town this weekend. The Lilywhites had a great start against Luton, creating 3 goal-scoring chances in the first seven minutes of the game.

Ange Postecoglou‘s squad has been playing attacking football from the word go and they continued to do so against Luton. It was in the injury time of first half that Spurs were down to 10 men with Yves Bissouma being sent off the field.

Luton would have thought it was their perfect chance to win over the table and a 10 man squad. Spurs, however, had different plans altogether. Micky van de Ven scored a shocking goal in the 52nd minute of the game which was enough to gain the 10-man squad 3 much-wanted points.

The Lilywhites currently find themselves at the summit of the Premier League table, boasting 20 points from 8 games, with Arsenal also in second place, matching their point tally.
