Spurs interested in potential Eriksen replacement from Ajax

Hakim-Ziyech

Eriksen’s future at Tottenham looks uncertain and a move to Real Madrid looks imminent for the player.

A Report from The Guardian reveals that Spurs have already started searching for a replacement for star midfielder Eriksen who looks set to join Spanish giants Real Madrid. The clubs search for his replacement has led them to bring their attention towards Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech.

The playmaker has been in exceptional form this season scoring 18 goals and providing 12 assists in 32 appearances for the Eredivisie side.

Ziyech is one of the best midfielders in the Eredivisie league and has been very effective up front. With 83 key passes and 74% passing accuracy he has at par with some of the best midfielders in the world. Even Eriksen has only managed 7 goals and 11 assists despite playing 42 matches for the club.

Ziyech has scored a whopping 27 goals and 25 assists in 68 appearances or the Dutch side. His stats show how good the player has been since moving to the side.

With Eriksen’s departure, imminent Ziyech looks like the best possible option for Spurs and the club should wait no longer and sign the midfielder before other European clubs set their sights on the player.

Eriksen’s departure will be a huge setback and finding a replacement for him that immediately livens up to the expectations won’t be easy for Spurs. But Ziyech looks like the kind of player who is lethal just like Eriksen and could assist and score goals as well as launch counter attacks.
