Spurs and Everton chase Toulouse midfielder

Ibrahim-Sangaré

Premier league rivals Tottenham and Everton are all set to battle for the signature of Ibrahim Sangare with both the clubs keen to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

French news outlet L’Equipe report that The Premier League pair have identified the 21-year-old who operates as a holding midfielder

In 28 appearances for the club this season Sangare scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists. At 6ft 3in Sangare is a good replacement for the departed Mousa Dembele.

Sangare arrived at Toulouse from Ivory Coast outfit AS Denguele three years ago and has established himself as a regular in the French side.

The player is valued at €20million to €25million something Spurs can easily considering they have a lot of first team players to sell this summer.

The player is keen to move to the Premier league and play in the Champions league so a move to Spurs looks more likely for the player.

It remains to be seen if Spurs shell out €80million for a established player like Ndombele or go for a cheaper and raw alternative Sangare who is available for half the price.

The player indeed is very talented and could very well fill in the void left by Dembele but it remains to be seen if the club decide on signing the player or not.
