Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been nominated for the December manager of the month award.
Spurs had a strong festive season with 3 games in 6 days and 5 games in a month. Even with such a hectic schedule Spurs managed to win 5 of their 6 matches losing only against Wolverhampton in a shock defeat.
After being defeated at the hands of arch rivals Arsenal, Spurs went on to go 5 games unbeaten which saw them score 29 goals. The unbeaten streak included the 6-2 and a 5-0 thrashing of Everton and Bournemouth.
Having last lifting a trophy back in 2008 Spurs look set to claim their first silverware almost after a decade. Pochettino has never won a trophy as a manager and will look to put this behind him as Sours look contempt to win a silverware.
Because of the impressive festive season Pochettino has been nominated for the Manager of the month for November. Pochettino is up against Nuno Espirito Santo, Jurgen Klopp, Manuel Pellegrini, and Maurizio Sarri for the award.
