Tottenham Hotspur somehow survived PSV Eindhoven last night and it could provide a huge boost for the Pochettino side. It was Champions League evening and the North London club had an impressive 2-1 win over the visitors. Thanks to Harry Kane who again brought all the three points single-handedly.
It was PSV’s Luuk De Jong who puts his team ahead in the very first moments of the game. All thought about a loss for the Premier League side but the British captain got no chill. He scored twice in the final 15 minutes to turn the game on its head.
It was yet another frustrating evening for the Spurs but somehow they managed to live alive. They were sloppy and guilty of missing a large number of opportunities in the match, as they spurned chance after chance. However, captain played his part and Tottenham saw the lines of victory.
Harry Kane is now the talk of the town and even BBC pundit and former English football Ian Wright tweeted about his appreciation to the striker. He stated, “Not always in the game but @HKane does what great strikers do and scores goals when it matters 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾”

This victory will definitely help Mauricio Pochettino’s side to thrive better and gave a chance of qualifying from their group if they can beat Inter Milan and Barcelona in their final two matches.
