Spurs 6-2 beating of Everton showed how capable the players are. Having conceded a goal Spurs turned things around and hammered 6 goals past England keeper Jordan Pickford.

Harry Kane, Heung Min Son, Christian Eriksen, and Dele Alli all scored in the same game for the first time ever as Spurs closed the gap with 2nd placed Manchester City.

Tottenham are in contention to win every tournament they are in, having already booked their place in the Round of 16 of the Champions Spurs and the EFL semifinals. And also in a respectable 3rd position in the Premier league 6 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Spurs became the first side to not sign a single player in the Summer transfer window but the decision seems to have been proving beneficial for them.

Ex-Spurs boss Harry Redknapp on talkSPORT said: “They’ve got a good squad. I know they didn’t buy and everyone was going about it in the summer, but if you go through their squad they’ve got options everywhere.

“You look at the boy Son – what a player he is – they change the full-back continuously, they’ve got cover at center-half, they’re overloaded with plenty of midfield players and even Sissoko has come back to life this year.

“They look so strong and the football they play is terrific

“When you’ve got Dele Alli, I mean what a talent. Him and Harry Kane and Son, the three of them can do damage to anybody, I think they’re fantastic.”

Spurs decision to not sign a player gave the already available players to take chances and Moussa Sissoko is one of the few who has risen from the dead and what a comeback he has made. Spurs host AFC Bournemouth and later Wolverhampton as they look to keep the pressure on leaders Liverpool.
