The hot target for this summer transfer is the Premier League players that a nerve-struck Real Madrid would want to buy. Going through a rough phase, Madrid surely want new talent to change the momentum in their favour.
Following rumours that Zidane may not succeed in signing Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen has emerged their priority. The Denmark international, meanwhile, has only one more year of contract with Spurs which seems to end soon.
Real Madrid have had the liking for Spurs player. Firstly Luka Modric, look what a star that Croatian has become and secondly Gareth Bale who for injury have not seen purple phase with Madrid.
With Modric ageing into the bad 30’s, Real Madrid are vying Eriksen as a potential replacement for future. And for the present they want Eriksen to strengthen their midfield options, making a team which without Ronaldo can prosper.
Christian Eriksen is worth every penny Madrid would want to throw at him. The Denmark international has been our game-changer which I’m sure will also be in Spanish Capital. Often has this guy brought us out from the jive of losing and taken us into the pool of victory
Eriksen, as we all know, has the affinity to make long shots which are useful in La Liga. Apart from his traditional goal scoring abilities he is also well built to stop the counter attacks or even begin one for his team. His passes are accurate so is his game sense, perfect in every manner. And the knowledge for football that he possesses is exactly the thing Zidane demands.
Mauricio Pochettino, however is reluctant to allow Eriksen leave. The Spurs manager said:
“I hope and I wish that Christian can be with us in the future.”
“I think Christian and us, we are so open to talk and we will see what happens. It is so close, the end of the season, and there will be a lot of time to talk after.”
This seems highly improbable looking at the future of Pochettino who himself may leave for Juventus. There is a lot to Eriksen, one which I would not want to leave the club and another which I would love to see prosper for Los Blancos, although the former is what my heart wants and the latter is what my mind demands.
