Bayern Munich make Harry Kane their top summer transfer target

According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg’s recent tweet, Bayern Munich have identified Harry Kane as their top summer transfer priority.

Following a series of intense discussions, the Bavarians have made the decision to pursue the signature of the superstar England international. While the path to securing a deal may prove arduous, Bayern Munich is meticulously plotting their next moves.

With his heart set on the Bundesliga giants, the 29-year-old has openly expressed his desire to join their ranks. As things stand, the German outfit exudes confidence in acquiring Kane’s services for a sum below €100 million.

Undoubtedly, Harry Kane’s contributions to the North London club have been immeasurable. The English skipper has consistently found the back of the net season after season, etching his name in the annals of Tottenham Hotspur’s history as their all-time leading goalscorer.

Regrettably, despite his remarkable feats, Kane’s time at Tottenham has been devoid of major silverware, with the club enduring a trophy drought spanning 14 years. Harry Kane has tried season after season to no avail.

Consequently, it comes as no surprise that the striker may seek greener pastures with Bayern Munich. Renowned as one of the most triumphant teams globally, the Bavarians have clinched the Bundesliga title for an astounding ten consecutive years.

In the previous summer transfer window, Bayern Munich experienced the departure of Robert Lewandowski, leaving a void in their attacking arsenal. Although they acquired the services of Sadio Mane from Liverpool, the Senegalese dynamo does not fulfil the role of an out-and-out striker.

Thus, Bayern struggled to find a reliable number nine throughout last season. Eric Choupo-Moting, Matthys Tel and Thomas Muller all played in that role with varying degrees of success.

Nevertheless, Harry Kane stands as the unrivalled talisman of Tottenham Hotspur. Amidst an underwhelming Premier League season, he emerged as the club’s sole dependable attacker, exhibiting his unwavering commitment by playing every minute and notching an impressive 30 goals.

Tottenham Hotspur undeniably needs to retain their cherished star. With the enticing prospect of nearing Alan Shearer’s record for the highest number of goals in the English top flight, one can only hope that it compels the 29-year-old maestro to prolong his stay at the N17.
