Tottenham Hotspur have agreed on the transfer of versatile defender Anton Walkes to Portsmouth for an undisclosed fee. The player is heading to Portsmouth on a 2 year deal with an option for a further year.
The 21-year-old spent the latter half of the 2017-18 season on loan with Pompey had been linked to various clubs.
Portsmouth manager Kenny Jacket told Portsmouth’s website that “Anton’s still young and has a really big future in the game,
“We’re delighted to be able to sign him on a permanent basis. He’s somebody we obviously know very well.”
The transfer window still has some time before it closes down and all we can do is hope that we make a signing before it ends.
