Kieran Trippier completed his move to Atletico Madrid earlier today and the Englishman has headed straight to Los Ángeles de San Rafael as he links up in training with his new teammates.
Trippier, as he joins Atletico, becomes only one of two Gareth Southgate’s England first team ally to ply theor trade abroad, alongside former Manchester City winger Jadon Sancho, who plays for Borussia Dortmund.
With departure of Juanfran, Diego Godin, Filipe Luis and Lucas Hernandez – Kieran Trippier becomes part of Diego Simone’s defensive revamp.
Trippier recieved warm reception as the Englishman recieved a guard of honour, as the Atletico players slapped him on the back as he ran through the group.
