Former Gunner Ray Parlour believes that Tottenham linked Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha could be the man to replace Christian Eriksen, if the latter leaves the Lillywhites this summer.
Christian Eriksen’s contract is set to expire next summer and if the club fails to tie him to a new contract the player will leave as a free transfer next summer. The likes of Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid have been linked with the Dane international.
Real Madrid are the favourites to land the player this summer as they look to bounce back from a disappointing campaign.
The Daily Mail reports that “Crystal Palace are willing to part with Zaha this summer.”
Speaking on talkSPORT Ray Parlour said: “If he does move on, he has been brilliant for Palace. They will get top dollar for him.
“What is a club willing to pay for him? You’re looking at £70 million.
“Certainly, he’s a real talent. If Eriksen goes and they get good money for him, he’d be a good replacement for him probably. He’d be a great signing because he is a quality player.”
“You have got to look at him costing £70m.”
“He’d be a good replacement for Eriksen if he leaves #THFC.”@RealRomfordPele believes the time is right for Wilfried Zaha to move to a top six club.

There is no doubt on the quality of Zaha and what he brings to the team. But Zaha is more of a finisher and Eriksen is more of a creator who also has the ability to score goals. Zaha is intelligent and has pace and an eye for goal but Eriksen brings creativity to the Spurs side with his vision and passing skills.
Zaha cannot be an ideal replacement for Eriksen, he could be a good signing for the club but can never fill in the shoes of Eriksen.
