Tottenham Hotspur target rejects approach amid winger interest

Kolo-Muani

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have both reportedly faced rejection from a sought-after forward Randal Kolo Muani. The 27-year-old, linked with Spurs in January, appears set on a different destination. This development could prompt Tottenham to further explore their attacking options this summer. With the need for firepower potentially increasing, the club may need to act quickly.

Just over a week ago, Thomas Frank indicated that Tottenham Hotspur might not be finished adding to their forward line during this transfer window. As a result, the club’s focus may intensify on securing additional attacking talent.

Adding firepower became a major priority for the Lilywhites. This urgency arose following Heung-Min Son’s departure from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur had reportedly reignited their interest in Randal Kolo Muani. The club initially approached him in January, but a permanent move to Juventus seemed likely. However, a new update suggests that Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a setback in their pursuit of the Paris Saint-Germain star.

This information comes from TuttoSport, which claims the centre-forward rejected inquiries from both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. The report indicates that the player remains keen on returning to Juventus.

The outlet asserts that the France international is likely to join Juventus on an initial loan deal. The loan would be worth between €10m and €15m, with an obligation to buy set at €30m. Consequently, an agreement now seems to be progressing in the right direction.

Rodrygo linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur

Some reports from Spain have suggested that Tottenham Hotspur are considering replacing Heung-Min Son with Rodrygo this summer. Marca have asserted that Tottenham Hotspur have already made an opening offer for Rodrygo. This follows the player expressing a willingness to leave Real Madrid.

The same update claimed that Real Madrid value Rodrygo at €70m-€80m. Liverpool and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the winger. As a result, Tottenham Hotspur face competition for his signature.

Previously, TBR Football reported that Paris Saint-Germain value Kolo Muani at €50m. However, his preference appears to be a move to Juventus. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur may need to consider alternatives.
