After what has been a quietly strong start to the season under Thomas Frank, Tottenham Hotspur are not resting on their laurels. The Lilywhites are reportedly considering a move for Everton’s standout forward Iliman Ndiaye, with TEAMtalk claiming that any deal would likely cost north of £60 million.
Iliman Ndiaye has been playing some exciting football at Everton
Ndiaye has been a standout performer at Goodison Park since his move from Marseille, and his versatility in the final third is catching the eye of the recruitment team at Hotspur Way. Capable of playing across the front line, centrally, or from either wing, the 25-year-old Senegal international could add a different dimension to Tottenham’s attacking options.
He has scored three goals and registered an assist already in the Premier League this season, operating as a key cog in Moyes’ system. Yet, there’s a feeling that he could thrive even more in a possession-based, tactically flexible setup like Frank’s Spurs.
Described as a “phenomenal” talent, Ndiaye has shown the technical sharpness and intelligent movement to become a game-changer at the highest level. A move to Tottenham, especially with Champions League football on offer, would represent a clear step up and one that may appeal to the player’s ambitions.
Tottenham can add to young core with Iliman Ndiaye

With a young core, exciting tactical evolution, and renewed momentum, the club are keen to inject more quality into their front line especially amid question marks over Son Heung-min’s long-term role and fitness, and Timo Werner’s inconsistency.
Everton, however, are reluctant sellers. Moyes sees Ndiaye as a crucial part of his project, especially as the Toffees eye a top-half finish. They know they’re unlikely to receive multiple bids in excess of £60 million, and may hold firm unless the player actively pushes for a move.
A potential January transfer battle could be brewing and Spurs seem ready to make the first move.
