Spurs will look to sign some new players this transfer window as the club are in strong position to compete for silverware and end their trophy drought.

Tottenham became the first side to not sign a single player in the summer transfer window yet have managed to put all of it behind them with impressive performances to sit in the 2nd place in the league table and book their place in the EFL Semi finals and Champions league’s round of 16.

Spurs have won 15 of their 19 games and became the first side to not draw a single match in the first half of the season.

However Spurs have a lot of players in their squad and will need to remove some of them to add new players to the team.

A Daily Mail report reveals that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has decided to offload six players worth an estimated total of £75 million and add new players to the squad.

The report claims Pochettino is willing to let go of the likes of Mousa Dembele, Victor Wanyama, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Michel Vorm, Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen.

Dembele and Wanyama are out of action since November because of their injuries and Vorm, Janssen, and Nkoudou are unlikely to feature again for the Lillywhites because of their poor performances on the opportunities given.

It is very important for Spurs to sell some of these players and add new one’s to give relief to the starting 11 and have better alternatives in case of injuries or if some players need to be left on the bench.
