Spurs target Alassane Plea joins Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach

Alassane-Plea

The transfer window is only getting worse as Spurs target Alassane Plea has joined Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach last week. The rumor about his departure to Gladbach was out last week but it was not taken seriously considering the interest from other big clubs.

But there it is, the club has officially announced the signing of the Nice striker.

After a impressive season in the Ligue one, the 25 year old scored 16 goals and reportedly was linked to various clubs from the Premier league. Spurs also looked upto the player as a replacement if they failed to sign Anthony Martial from Manchester united. Newcastle United reportedly also had made a bid of £20m for the player.

But the player had his heart set in Germany and opted to move to Gladbach in the Bundesliga.

It may not be that a big heartbreak for Spurs fan but this could be the start of what could follow a disappointing transfer window for the club.
